School Day

To encourage independence and to allow lessons to begin on time, children come through the school gates alone.  Parents please stand away from the gates to allow the children to safely and easily make their way to their classroom. Year 5 and 6 enter the school from the Romford Road gate and are allowed in from 8.40am.  Year 3 enter the school from the Romford Road gate at 8.50am.  Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 all enter the school from Cranbourne Road gate at 8.50am.  Both gates will close at 9am when any late children will need to be taken to the main office on High Street North.

All children will go into their classes from the playground.  There will be members of staff at the doors and on the stairwells to ensure that the children enter the building safely. 

There are senior leaders at each gate, ensuring that as the children enter the school grounds safely and happy.  If you have any messages that you urgently need given to the class teacher, please inform the team on the gate.

At the end of the day 3.20pm; parents are welcomed onto the school grounds- this provides the opportunity to see the class teacher and to safety collect your child from their classroom or line. All parents/carers will collect their children either from the Romford Road entrance (Year 3, 5 and 6) or Cranbourne Road entrance (Reception, Year 1, 2 and 4).  Please follow the way in and out directions which will make it easier and quicker for collecting children. 

Please make sure you collect your children PROMPTLY at 3.20 pm as any delay can make them very anxious.
