We are excited to share that our children have been working diligently on their half-termly holiday projects focused on Ancient Greece. Many of them have created impressive models of ancient Greek temples, including the iconic Parthenon. Through these projects, children have showcased their creativity and understanding of Ancient Greek architecture. The projects are currently displayed in the school for all to admire. Would you not agree that they are all absolutely amazing?
Educational Visit to the British Museum
As part of their study on Ancient Greece, Year 3 children embarked on an enlightening trip to the British Museum. This excursion provided an invaluable opportunity for the children to engage with authentic artefacts, thereby enriching their classroom learning. The experience not only fostered a deeper understanding of historical contexts but also allowed the children to thoroughly enjoy themselves while exploring the wonders of the past.
Rainforests Project
In our new topic on Rainforests, the children in Year 3 were assigned a holiday project designed to ignite their enthusiasm for this fascinating subject. The children were encouraged to collaborate with their families during the holidays to create a Rainforest Model using materials readily available at home. The collaborative efforts resulted in an impressive array of models, showcasing creativity and dedication. Each contribution is remarkable, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all families who participated in this enriching experience, enhancing the children’s learning journey.
