Farewell To Ms Choppy

After an incredible 22 years at Salisbury Primary School, we extend our heartfelt farewell to Ms Choppy. Throughout her tenure as Head Teacher, she has played an instrumental role in fostering the development of our school in numerous ways. Under her leadership, the school expanded to accommodate more children, creating invaluable opportunities for growth and learning. Additionally, she has cultivated strong partnerships within the local community, ensuring that all children and staff feel happy, safe, and empowered to excel in all areas of their lives.

To express our deep gratitude, the children and staff orchestrated a surprise farewell assembly, during which children shared Ms Choppy’s life story along with heartfelt poems and songs. Ms Choppy was genuinely taken aback, as she had no inkling of the celebration planned in her honour. Her pride in the remarkable efforts of the children and staff was evident, reflecting the strong bond she has forged with the entire school community.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Ms Choppy for her unwavering dedication and commitment to Salisbury Primary School. We would not be where we are today without her guidance. As she embarks on this new chapter of retirement, we wish her all the joy and fulfilment that lies ahead.

Sports Day

To encourage competition and to celebrate the end of the year, all children at Salisbury Primary School participate in our annual sports day. This much-anticipated event cultivates excitement as children strive to achieve bronze, silver, and gold medals. In preparation, our children have been practising a range of skills to enhance their performance on this important day. We commend all the children for their enthusiastic participation and commendable efforts. Additionally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents who supported their children and contributed to making this exciting day truly memorable.

Salisbury's Got Talent

A Celebration of Skills and Creativity

As the academic year draws to a close, Salisbury Primary School proudly presents "Salisbury's Got Talent," an exhilarating talent show that showcases the remarkable abilities of our children. This event invites children of all ages to audition, with only a select few proceeding to perform on the day. The process of narrowing down the auditions was indeed a challenging task, culminating in the selection of 14 outstanding finalists.

On the final day of term, these talented individuals took to the stage before the entire school community, as well as a panel of three esteemed judges. Each participant demonstrated incredible skill and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on both their peers and the audience. Following an engaging morning of performances, the judges awarded prizes to the top three acts, recognising the exceptional talent displayed, particularly among several collaborative group performances. We are immensely proud of all participants for their hard work and dedication.
